Kuldīga
Kuldīga – a city with a soul. Cultural heritage is an integral part of Kuldīga. Kuldīga’s historic centre and buildings should be appreciated together with its unique natural landscape. The historic buildings and nature of the town form a unique ensemble, the like of which is unparalleled not only in Latvia, but also elsewhere in Europe.
Historically, the Venta River and the Venta Falls have played an important role in the development of Kuldīga. The World Heritage Site includes sites geographically linked to the Venta valley: Kuldīga Old Town, Kuldīga Castle Hill, Kuldīga Castle and the Venta Canal. The Venta hub is the widest waterfall in Europe. The Venta hub is a natural monument and is part of the Venta Valley Nature Reserve.
Kuldīga is rich in taverns and cafés. Kuldīga also hosts various events throughout the year. Distance from Usma Meki to Kuldīga 30 km
